Thu, 14 Feb 2008 23:37:48 -0000 snow, snow, snow... last week was a bad snow storm. again last wednesday another snow storm came - and it accumulated really fast and before you know it - 20-30 cm of snow! today was just awful. due to the lack of snow plowers the city was surrounded by mountains of snow. on my way home, while crossing the street, i could not see the sidewalk nor walk on it. geez!!! so i had to walk on the street hoping that a car won't struck me.. after 3 minutes of walking - i saw a walkway (shortcut) to get home so i decided to take that route, oh men!!!!! my first steps were fine - then the next ones - it seems like i was eaten by the pile of snow. the snow was up to my knee - could not even move my foot - it was like hiking (no fun at all).. it was soooo cold: i was swallowing all the cold air and trying to catch my breath at the same time. after a long hike - i was able to see my feet again. what a huge relief! it took me almost 10 minutes (probably more) to get home. anyhow - any of you guys experienced somethi... http://rhealities.multiply.com/journal/item/16/snow_snow_snow... Oh my!!! Anyhow, I am now 25 - its the silver anniversary of my existence in this world. Thank God for giving me a chance to live this long, and hopefully longer... my birthday was awesome - one of the best birthdays i've had. i celebrated it with my mom and my hubby :) (which by the way gave me the most awesome gifts ever!!!). i will post some pictures soon when i find the time and strength to edit them. the past few days i've been "normal" meaning no crying or deep thinking before i go to bed. maybe i just needed the "time out - time off" from things that stresses me out. i am however happy to say that there are really people who cares - people who will stood by you when you are on the verge of breaking down. its just amazing. thank you for the concern & support - i owe you guys and u know who u guys are :P http://rhealities.multiply.com/journal/item/15/time_flies_by_REALLY_fast Thu, 31 Jan 2008 23:23:40 -0000 "no explanation - DEPRESSION" it's been three days now - i could not explain what it is im feeling...i've been going through this really deep emotions inside me. there are times were i just want to scream because of this loneliness and sadness i am feeling at the moment. i feel like crying all the time (so i did).. last night was one of the worst moment of my life - i could not stop crying and sobbing. people close to me were saying "stop doing this to yourself, you are just creating a problem of your own. I felt at home right away - the people in that office was uber friendly and nice. I thank God for giving me this opportunity. After so many hours in front of the computer 2 nights before, EJ found out that we can use our mileage to purchase tickets for this trip - since we are always travelling we saved up points to get a free flight. OK Bamboo Concert we had to cancel it - we sold it to people for a cheaper price just to get rid of it. Thursday: November 22 There was a snow storm warning on this day. Our flight was scheduled 1:35pm. EJ and I are soo excited to go. I have never felt this way before. I am really torn. I am sad because I am leaving my current part-time job and leaving one of the best employers out there. I am thankful because I am hired to be a full time employee for a big company. This company will actually bring me "up there" - this job will bring my skills back to life. As I have stopped for a long time - not knowing that I will be hired to actually do what I love to do. I guess I have to consider that I am building a family now - so i have to move on.. to actually see what is out there for me. I had to put aside a lot of things in my life and now its time to 'get creative' again. We were able to hang out again. We went to a Japanese resto for dinner. My goodness! we did not have any alcohol that night and we were laughing our heart out. I think we got so "groggy" with all the sushi that we had. We could not stop laughing the whole time we were at the resto. The funniest part is: Ruth asked the waitress if they can take a picture together. LOL! We ate a lot of ice cream: from green tea to mango to red bean.
