last week was a bad snow storm.
again last wednesday another snow storm came - and it accumulated really fast and before you know it - 20-30 cm of snow!
today was just awful. due to the lack of snow plowers the city was surrounded by mountains of snow. on my way home, while crossing the street, i could not see the sidewalk nor walk on it. geez!!! so i had to walk on the street hoping that a car won't struck me.. after 3 minutes of walking - i saw a walkway (shortcut) to get home so i decided to take that route, oh men!!!!! my first steps were fine - then the next ones - it seems like i was eaten by the pile of snow. the snow was up to my knee - could not even move my foot - it was like hiking (no fun at all)..
it was soooo cold: i was swallowing all the cold air and trying to catch my breath at the same time. after a long hike - i was able to see my feet again. what a huge relief!
it took me almost 10 minutes (probably more) to get home. anyhow - any of you guys experienced something like this after a snow storm???
